TRAVER HUTCHINS, Chief Executive Officer
As CEO, Traver is a true pioneer in consumer health educational marketing through point-of-care and permission-based marketing programs.
Upon earning a Bachelor’s degree in history and economics at the University of Minnesota, Traver soon embarked upon a promising career in advertising sales at some of the nation’s most prestigious magazines. Working Mother, Sassy, Success and Working Woman were just a few of the publications for which Traver created successful marketing programs.
As a 28 year old advertising representative at Working Mother magazine, Traver’s ideas to create health publications and provide them free to patients in pharmacies was revolutionary. Traver shared his idea with his then boss, Dale Lang, the legendary publishing figure and in 1993 MediZine was born.
From a single germ of an idea, Traver has turned MediZine into one of the fastest growing publishers in the country and the leader in consumer health education point-of-care and permission-based marketing programs.
Today, Traver continues to innovate and expand MediZine into new arenas and media to bring even more consumers the highest quality health and wellness information they need and to create meaningful connections between health marketers and the customers they want to reach. |
